''Denys Bocharov is one of the most interesting and promising young composers of Ukraine. He is always consequent in his choice for compositional forms and technique and demonstrates good skill in putting his ideas into practice. He avoids making a compromise in the art and does not want to adapt himself to popular but superficial and short-lived trends. In his music he strives for the highest artistic level and understands this as the first and ultimate condition that may show him the way to the artistic Olympus. Denys has good chances to successfully overcome this path.''
